New siemsic interpretation workflow for engineering ground investigations
Dr Lucy M. L. Catt, Senior Geophysicist at RIL, has recently finalised a sophisticated workflow for processing and interpreting 2D single-channel seismic data acquired for engineering surveys (e.g. for windfarm site investigations) using a combination of software, including KINGDOM, a 2D/3D oil-industry standard interpretation package, and a GIS, among others. This has become the focus of an article in issue 64 of the Welsh Assembly Government's magazine Advances Wales.
