RIL’s Geophysics team, managed by Dr Lucy Catt, Senior Geophysicist, has been commissioned again for another hydropower project in Georgia. The RIL team will be providing ongoing technical advice on geophysical surveys, field supervision, data analysis and interpretation as the project develops over the coming months.
RIL continues to maintain its leading-edge position with offshore wind farm developments by providing key advice to international developers with repeated contracts for a number of different wind farms and clients. RIL has been providing consultancy advice on technical specifications, tenders, survey designs and geological interpretation regimes.
In January 2015, RIL started a two year-commission to provide glacial hazards advice as part of the Scoping for and the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the Diamer Basher Dam Project in northern Pakistan, under contract to MWH, Chicago, USA, and funded by USAID.
